CCP 2006 Conference on Computational Physics August 29 - September 1, 2006 (Gyeongju, Republic of Korea) *Overview The 2006 Conference on Computational Physics is organized by the Committee of Computational Physics of Korean Physical Society. CCP is supported by IUPAP, AAPPS, APS and EPS and is one of the most versatile conferences in computational science world-wide. The number of attendees varies between 400 and 500. The Conference will comprise 2 plenary sessions and 8 parallel sessions per day, and 2 poster sessions. CCP continues the series of the APS-EPS "Physics Computing" (Boston 1989, Amsterdam 1990, San Jose 1991, Prague 1992, Albuquerque 1993, Lugano 1994, Pittsburgh 1995, Krakow 1996, Santa Cruz 1997) and is periodically alternating since 1998 between Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific (Granada 1998, Atlanta 1999, Brisbane 2000, Aachen 2001, San Diego 2002, Beijing 2003, Genova 2004, Los Angeles 2005). *Topics to be Covered - NANO: Simulation of nano-scale physics - COND: Simulation of condensed matter physics - PLAS: Simulation of plasma physics - STAT: Simulation of statistical systems - BIOP: Simulation of biological physics - PPNP: Particle physics and nuclear physics - ASTO: Numerical astrophysics - EDUC: Computational physics education - MISC: Miscellaneous unclassified fields *Invited Speakers TOPIC 1: Condensed Matter and Nanophysics R.
